Industry-Academia-Research-Application Model
Yufeng Group, in collaboration with over 20 research institutions and universities including Wuhan University of Technology, Southwest University of Science and Technology, Guangxi University, Guilin University of Technology, Guangxi University of Science and Technology, and China Building Materials Academy, has established an integrated innovation community encompassing production, education, research, and application. Focusing on cutting-edge fields such as green building materials, specialty cement, and comprehensive utilization of solid waste resources, the group is undertaking the project "Production and Demonstration of High Corrosion-Resistant Silicate Cement for Precast Components."More than 60 national, provincial (regional), and municipal research projects, such as "Development and Demonstration Application of High Corrosion-Resistant Construction Engineering Materials in Complex Marine Environments", "Research on Key Technologies for Treating Urban Sludge Using New Dry-Process Cement Kilns", and "Development and Industrialization of New High Sulfate-Resistant Cement", have promoted the efficient transformation of scientific research results into real productivity.

Yufeng Group has built a three-dimensional R&D system with "autonomous region-level platforms as the main body, specialized laboratories as support, and innovation consortia as breakthroughs". It has autonomous region-level R&D platforms such as Guangxi Green Cement Industry Engineering Institute, Guangxi New Dry Process Cement Manufacturing Technology Innovation Center, Enterprise Technology Center, Autonomous Region-level R&D Center, Collaborative Innovation Center for Non-ferrous Metal Mineral Exploration and Efficient Utilization of Resources, as well as Liuzhou City Key Laboratory.Several of its second-tier subsidiaries have been recognized as national high-tech enterprises and have received honors such as benchmark enterprise for scientific and technological innovation and benchmark enterprise for green development. In 2022, the "Innovation Consortium" led by Liuzhou Yufeng was successfully approved, becoming the only "Innovation Consortium" in Guangxi led by a cement company.

As the "intelligent hub" of scientific research for Yufeng Group, the central laboratory is equipped with more than 30 sets of advanced instruments and equipment, and has the ability to analyze the intrinsic mechanisms of action of raw materials, intermediate products and end products at the micro scale, so as to deeply empower the company's green transformation and high-quality development through basic research.
